licht.de has published a "Guide to DIN EN 12464-1"
European standard DIN EN 12464-1 includes important requirements for workplace lighting. The standard contains values for lighting variables such as illuminance, it gives indications for correct maintenance and glare limitation. Whether workplace lighting is required for an office, factory or restaurant, it needs to take account of DIN EN 12464-1. Now, licht.de has published a practical planning aid for architects and lighting designers: the "Guide to DIN EN 12464-1" summarises the major contents of the standard.
