Very high ceilings? Looking for lighting solutions for long escalators? Induction lamps are the right choice for these applications: they score points with a very long life of around 60,000 operating hours.

Induction lamps are low-pressure discharge lamps with no electrodes. The electron flow here is induced by a magnetic field. They thus have no components that are subject to wear and that would end the lamp's life if they fail.

Circular or spherical design

A long life makes induction lamps a recommended solution for all applications where access is difficult, e.g. in tunnels, in underground workings or for illuminated sign advertising at great heights. Induction lamps are available in circular and spherical designs; their luminous efficacy is around 90 lm/W. Lamp and EB form a single unit.

Like all discharge lamps, induction lamps must not be disposed of as household waste. They require professional disposal.
