DIN 13201-1:2004 Road lighting, Part 1: Selection of lighting classes, DIN EN 13201:2003 Road lighting, Part 2: Performance requirements, Part 3: Calculation of performance, Part 4: Methods of measuring lighting performance
The standards DIN 13201 Part 1 and DIN EN 13201 Parts 2–4 deal with the special requirements that road lighting needs to meet. Part 1 is a national standard because the member states of the EU were ultimately unable to agree on a common Part 1 but Germany (along with Austria and Czech Republic) wanted to put it into force. Parts 2–4 of the EN standard apply throughout the EU.
The standards largely supersede DIN 5044 "Stationary traffic lighting" and DIN 67528 "Lighting of parking areas and indoor car parks"
