DIN EN 12193:1999 sets out the lighting requirements that need to be met for indoor and outdoor sports facilities. Requirements and values are defined for the illuminance, uniformity, glare limitation and light source colour characteristics needed to provide optimal visual conditions for athletes, judges/referees, spectators and TV and film teams.
