Bedroom lighting
As well as providing general lighting, bedroom lighting needs to address three special lighting tasks: bedside, mirror and wardrobe lighting. The arguments in favour of this functional design concept are as strong as ever. Unlike in the past, however, functionalism is not the only criterion. Today's preference is for bedrooms with a "homely" atmosphere underpinned by accentuating lighting. This favours the choice of multiple stylish luminaires and a measured mix of direct, direct/indirect and indirect lighting.
