Luminous flux
Luminous flux is the rate at which light is emitted by a lamp. It describes the visible light radiating from a light source in all directions and is measured in lumens (lm). An incandescent lamp gives off around 1,400 lm, a double-capped halogen lamp up to 44,000 lm. The luminous flux of individual LEDs lies between 18 and 30 lumen.
