Light sensors: Brightness-dependent regulation
Brightness-dependent regulation is another lighting management tool. Light sensors (brightness sensors) monitor the illuminance of daylight and/or artificial lighting. and give the signal to activate or deactivate lighting or to raise or lower the dimming level. The threshold value for each action – i.e. the brightness required – is programmed in advance.
Light sensors are an essential component of lighting regulation systems. They are often used in conjunction with motion detectors.
