Luminous ceiling systems

Luminaires for modular ceilings in combination with an appropriate ceiling assembly are referred to as luminous ceilings. The light sources commonly used in luminous ceilings include tubular fluorescent lamps and compact fluorescent lamps without integrated ballast.
