Induction lamps
Induction lamps are a long-life alternative for interior and exterior lighting. Where lamp replacement is a complex operation – e.g. in tunnels, high industrial bays or exterior lighting systems – they are the light source of choice. Induction lamps work on the principle of electromagnetic induction and gas discharge. Their colour rendering properties are good.
Because these "high performance fluorescent lamps" have no components subject to wear, such as heating coils, they can reach up to 60,000 operating hours. They come in bulb-shaped and flat designs.
