Igniters for high pressure discharge lamps
Igniters use precise electronically controlled firing pulses to ensure a gentle start for high pressure discharge lamps. Some also act as controllers for shutting down the lamp at the end of its life.
High pressure discharge lamps include halogen metal halide lamps with reflector, halogen metal halide lamps without reflector, high pressure sodium vapour lamps and high pressure mercury vapour lamps.
