Light meters and colorimeters
Light and colour meters are used to establish photometric and photophysical quantities. One of the best known light meters is the lux meter for measuring illuminance. Apart from that there are luminance meters for establishing luminance and photometers for measuring luminous flux. Colorimeters are used for measuring colour appearance at lamps and luminaires.
