The Federation of International Lighting Design (FILD) promotes student projects that combine creative design with a suitable lighting concept and therefore this year, for the first time, is presenting the FILD Lighting for Excellence Student Award.

The Frankfurt-based association will award 2,000 euros for the first prize and 1,000 euros each for the five other winners to a total of six architecture, interior architecture or design projects that complement a student project with a lighting concept. The competition aims to demonstrate that the integration of lighting design into architectural designs creates significant functional, emotional and economic added value.

The application deadline is August 31, 2022, closing date is October 1, 2022.
