New trends in office or domestic lighting, lighting management or LED technology: whatever you want to know about lighting, 50 years of experience makes licht.de the right contact for you.
Based in Frankfurt am Main, licht.de was established in 1970 as one of the first cooperative marketing organisations – at the time under the name Fördergemeinschaft Gutes Licht (FGL). Today, licht.de has around 125 member companies in the lighting industry organised within the German association ZVEI e. V. Those companies not only support licht.de financially but also place the specialised knowledge of their lighting experts at its disposal. licht.de's managing director is Dr. Jürgen Waldorf, the licht.de committee is chaired by Peter Dehoff.
licht.de's mission is to provide impartial and authoritative information on advantages and topical aspects of good lighting. Through conventional press work in print and online, licht.de addresses designers and architects, engineers and the trade as well as the end consumer.
licht.de's "knowledge store" is the series of publications "licht.wissen", which now includes 21 titles. Presenting a host of lighting examples, its themed booklets explain the basics of lighting and look at exemplary solutions. The series is regularly updated and printed in many countries other than Germany.
licht.de also publishes "licht.forum", a special periodical that focuses on current lighting issues and addresses both private consumers and users in industry and commerce.
