Flexible reading luminaires are used mainly in hospitals. Mounted at the patient's bed, they are easy for the patient to reach and can be set at the brightness, position and angle required. At night, they provide enough light to illuminate the route to the toilet and can be used by nursing staff for simple patient care procedures.
